Beyond serving students, volunteering as a cooperating teacher for Spelman College, Morehouse College, Clark University, and Georgia State University teacher candidates helped to refine and redefine her educational practices.  Her life’s mission is to ensure students love themselves and obtain the academic, social, and emotional skills – confidence, tenacity, and a love of learning – to thrive outside of the classroom.
